as a female dv survivor who is now a full time domestic violence advocate, i completely understand wanting some kind of space to try and be proactive about dating violence. but no matter what, unless you're saying it in a support group, coming forward without evidence leaves anyone liable for slander or defamation, whether or not the accusation is true. this platform is no exception. while I don't believe that platforms like this increase false accusations, even if you're truly a survivor speaking up and/or warning others on this app (or tea etc), you are making yourself one big target. the facial recognition feature to "prove you're a woman" is also absurd to me as a trans ally. what does it mean to look like a woman? as a biological female I've been mistaken as a man before. are masc lesbians getting kicked for having short hair and thick jawlines? are post-op cis-passing trans women getting booted? trans women aren't immune from DV, and neither are men. any "safe space" that attempts to exclude anyone who isn't a biological female will inevitably perpetuate the same transinvestigating rhetoric that harms the exact people they claim to protect. there are too many gaping flaws for this to be a sustainable project.

This app has been an absolute lifesaver—not just for me, but for several of my friends as well. It has helped us avoid getting involved with men who were manipulative, dishonest, or even dangerous. Being able to hear real experiences from real women—no more, no less—is empowering and validating in a way that traditional dating apps never provide. What’s just as valuable, though, is that it’s not just about red flags. This community has also helped highlight positive stories about kind, respectful, and genuine men. It’s a rare and refreshing balance that makes dating feel just a little less like navigating in the dark. Another thing I love? The moderators are incredible. They don’t tolerate hate, gossip, or tearing someone down for no reason. The posts are focused, factual, and supportive. It’s not a place to bash—it’s a place to protect, inform, and uplift. If you’re dating in this day and age, you need this app. It’s one of the few places where women look out for each other in such a real and meaningful way. Highly recommend.
