This game is really cute, I got way more invested than I thought. I love the graphics and I love that it’s mostly chill, like crafting, decoration, collecting etc. there is some combat but it’s not stressful or difficult. They don’t force you to watch ads either. Cute clothing items are pretty easy to get but I wish that we got more gems, some of it gets pretty expensive. Still I think it’s worth playing if you like cute and cozy games.
Ok so, I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this game was! I loved the art, story, and gameplay right from the get go. I love how there is no forcing of ads AT ALL, and how you can still do some for bonuses if you really wanted. All the outfits are adorable and I love how a lot of them/majority of them you are able to get through the gameplay and there are plenty of chances to get tickets for the gatcha for more that you can’t get in gameplay. This game is reeeeeaaallly thought out well and I’m enjoying every bit of it! Keep at it! :)
This review is 5 stars. That does not mean that the game has no faults. I'm playing on an iPhone XR, which may or may not factor in, but the game does have some stability problems. Oftentimes when tapping something that will open a menu or going to another player's island, the game will crash. It's pretty annoying, but I think, at least to some degree, it is hardware related (as in, exceeding RAM capacity), as closing a lot of my background apps does lessen the frequency of the crashes - though it does not eliminate them. And that's literally the only qualm I have. And it's still not a big enough issue for me to knock down a star. I enjoy every mechanic this game has, to be honest. Everything seems incredibly balanced, it's not P2W (there is combat, but not PVP as far as I've seen, it's a single player story campaign), you can pay for more cosmetics if you really want to but it's literally entirely optional. There's no energy system. It's phenominal. Getting gold can occasionally be a grind (cutting down resources, growing plants, crafting items, and inevitably fulfilling orders on the wish board), but you only need gold to buy - you guessed it, cosmetics. The premium currency of gems is handed out like candy, constantly. The gacha system for cosmetics is nice, it genuinely feels like chance and not rigged (as in, it doesn't feel like "oh, we gave you a gacha pull for free? we're gonna secretly limit that gacha pull to common items only to try to lure you into paying for tickets to actually get a chance to get the rare stuff"), and, regardless, it's literally just cosmetics. That's the whole game. Cosmetics with a story. There's been a recent update introducing guilds, which I haven't played yet, so I don't know what that's gonna be like. But, prior to this update, the state of the game was essentially perfect in my eyes. Hopefully the new update only improves the experience!
