I have played this game on and off for a year. I recently got back into and I’ve learned alot more about it in the process. Not only do you aim to become a super agent but you can buy stock in any hockey team in the world as a way to try and make money.. so you can look into a losing teams roster to see if they are young, or do what i do and check for teams that are bottom of the pack but have high Goals For and high Goals Against. This usually means poor goaltending, so you have them recruit one of yours(if you have one.. i always try to have at least one) and invest in their stock. So not only do you get the cut of your goaltender’s salary from the team but your stock becomes more valuable the better they get. NOW, there’s something even cooler about the stock program.. if you end up having 51% of a teams stock, you can officially run that team by becoming it’s president! Not only do you get to hand pick the roster but you also hire staff, scouts, set ticket prices, manage the venue, and other stuff i’m sure i havent gotten into yet. You can even watch a 2D quick sim of your team’s performance. This game is criminally underrated. It’s a lot of fun and easy to use. It’s also super easy to spend a lot of time on this. The stats matter very very much so if you are the type to take a deep dive into performance analysis and player development in games, this one is ABSOLUTELY for you. I am a massive fan of FHM and OOTP and anything in that realm really. If you are too, i promise you’ll dig this game.
So Number 1: obviously the help button to work. Number 2: maybe add a scout at the start that is already ready to be hired but low overall. Number 3: Make the starting players we get to recruit high than a 3 but at least a 5 to 20 by a percentage of luck as a new bonus to get that realistic reference to getting the right players. Number 4: Make it a better chance to own a team than the requirements right now. Number 5: Maybe for the NHL leagues maybe have the option to own the league to make expansion teams it be a pretty cool concept. Now finally Number 5: Let’s put more leagues for different continents and countries in the world so people could play for their favorite instead of being forced to play for another.
I love this game. It’s simple. It’s not necessarily competitive. You can pick it up and put down at anytime, I’m in sales so I’ll jump on for 5 minutes at a time or so. Will rate 5 stars as soon as game gets updated… all the “coming soon” tabs have me hyped. I have yet to own a team. However that sounds like it could be a blast to incorporate once I get there
