Honestly this game was very cool. It was like the basketball one and the football one. The only problem was that the game crashed a lot. I was having fun playing it then it just exited me out the game. So I went back in and it happened again. So the only 2 things the game needs is 1 try to fix the issue with the crashing and 2 at least put the auto save on everyday. But other than that the game has been fun to play but in the next baseball game please make the issue go away. This was a great game it was well made props to them.
ANOTHER UPDATE: installed the new update. Now I can’t start a season…unless you define watching the “starting your career” screen as playing the career mode. UPDATE: after a few weeks of creating rosters I finally started a career for the first time. Well, tried to start….i move players to the minors and nothing - I tried several times….I also noticed the calendar is crazy - playing a team 10 times in a row?! No ability to set a closer. Crashing randomly. Why put out a game that is clearly not ready/fully playable? I am just not going to play until there are several updates…it’s just frustrating to “play” at this point. I wouldn’t pay for it until the game is playable. I love the games that this developer puts out - amazing ability to fully customize. I was waiting for baseball because it could be awesome. My issues are the following: (1) crashes way too much, (2) can’t differentiate between starters and relievers, (3) needs a better/quicker way to create players - I don’t need pitching rating options for batters and vice versa. Again, love the games - just waiting on improvements for this one. In the meantime, I’m creating the entire 1985 season rosters and real future draft picks!
I enjoy HLM 24 play it everyday. When I saw they were making a baseball game I was super excited. I love baseball. However this game does not feel like baseball. Baseball doesn't have a salary cap. Every team using there own pay roll and sets there own budgets. This would greatly improve to game. Only allowing 50 contracts really kinda of hurts the game. Baseball teams have so many players under contract through the majors leagues. This limits creating leagues like AAA, AA, A, and rookie ball. The DH positions is no where to be found but when you go to your batting order you can't change it. In the minors have of my batting order is pitches. The game is also missing features like a 40-man roster and a day 5 draft. This games feels like it was created by someone who doesn't really like baseball but just wanted to make it because baseball is a sport and they have created games for every other sport. It just doesn't feel like i'm playing a baseball game
