Superimpose V - Video Editor

This us the best multi track editor that exists for iPhone. It supports effectively unlimited tracks. I’ve done videos with well over 40 tracks and it worked great. Additionally, it has a wide variety of capacities like auto face masking, green screening, a huge library of effects, transitions and more. This is a very powerful video editor that suits much closer to the truly pro end of the spectrum than any other I have found for iPhone. Which makes it even more impressive that the interface is extremely intuitive and very well thought out. The only downside is that this app feels frozen in time. I have contacted support multiple times about bugs or features I wanted added and have never once heard back. So if something isn’t working right you will need to figure out a workaround yourself. Fortunately, with rare exception the things I found that didn’t always work properly tended to be the more advanced features. The exceptions includes the project export (also used for sending project to support). There is an issue where once your project gets large enough (in size) it stops exporting everything and just randomly loses clips. Similarly, on very large projects it will hang up opening the project and can require multiple force closes and retries to successfully open the project. However, even with these rough patches I maintain that this is the best multi track video editor that exists for iPhone today.

Oh my gosh! This app is insane and just continues to get better and better. They just added rain that can be adjusted in size, volume, and intensity. You can even fog the glass and adjust that too. I am an animator and Motion VFX artist. I have literally been hoping and hoping and waiting for software like this to come to mobile. It’s here! This is it! Please give this a try and help spread the word on the Superimpose suite of apps. I don’t ever want them to go away. They have never disappointed. They now virtually cover all of my needs. There is zero necessity for a desktop or laptop device at this point thanks to developers like this. Thanks guys for all of your hard work. You have saved me. ❤️

I’m extremely excited about this app! SuperimposeX had been my #1 photo editor for years now. Inexpensive, no subscription, no tracking - just a stable, consistent, capable, and elegant set of tools I’ve come to depend on. My luck with video editors has been less good. The once-excellent Focos Live became a data harvester for Bending Spoons, the same folks responsible for Splice. LumaFusion is superb, but actually a little too elaborate for most of my needs. To find a video editor that brings the security , economy, and power of SuperimposeX to video is something I’ve been dreaming about. So yeah, I’m stoked! I’m giving it five stars, confident that it’ll exhibit the commitment to quality and ethics that have made SuperimposeX my rock-steady photo editor. Now let’s see what this baby can do! …and so far it’s everything I could wish for and a LOT more besides. The audio processing alone is stunning - but the keyframing!!! And all in an intuitive UI you’ll be using like a pro in no time. This developer doesn’t disappoint. One year on - I can only say that this app is everything I hoped it would be. Absolutely my go-to video editor, often used daily for weeks at a time. The dev continues to add features, nearly always as I’m thinking: “gee, it’d be cool if it could do…” — and voila! I’d rate Superimpose V (and X!) right up there with Procreate as THE superb, stable, ethical, essential tools for creators of visual content.
