Dash In Rewards

I have to be honest with you, when a store says that they are great I usually don’t hold my breath because they are 100% bias but Dash in is different! I love the setup and how convenient it is to pump gas! You can select the pump number and pay for it right from the app without leaving your car and I love that because I have 3 small children and I do not like to leave them in the vehicle for very long! And yall the food is AMAZING! Great quality awesome taste and great price, and with the dash in app they always have great deals on their food! In my opinion dash in is 10 out of 10.

So they recently placed a new Dash-In in my area and they pushed for customers to download their new app. Personally I thought it sounded like a solid app with discounts on gas which is always appreciated and deals on food items. After using it for sometime though I’ve starts to have some doubt in the app. First, when using the app if I want to use a deal/coupon in store the system won’t process the discount before paying. Making me have to pay the regular price before given the discount. For example I recently tried using a deal on the 16oz cans and wanted to pay cash. Instead of it going down, before paying, from 2.11 to 1.50, it stayed at the original price. Secondly, the deals don’t seem very worth while. Outside of the discount in gas, that also seems to not work at times, there are no other deals that would want to make me use the app. The deals for the over priced average food items aren’t that enticing. Four dollars and twenty-five cents for a soda and a bag of chips is not a deal it’s a scam.

First I was disappointed that the Shell on RT 40 Ellicott City sign during construction stated it was going to still be a Shell but as time went on it was noted to be a Dash In. I was informed that my Giant points for gas will no longer be accepted here because it’s no longer a Shell and Dash In has their own rewards program. I grocery shop at Giants for household groceries so those points really help me out with gas so I’ll have to find a Shell gas station to benefit from those points. Now the Dash In will save you .25 off per gallon for the 1st 60 days automatically and if you’re purchasing items from Dash In those points can also be used towards gas or food items but the downside is Dash In is not a grocery store more like a fast food convenience store which don’t get me wrong their food thus far burgers & cheesesteak sub is very delicious but I’m trying not to eat these types of food that much therefore I won’t be accumulating many points. But I’m about to try some wings and maybe get a burger or stackadilla.
