This app has been wonderful in supporting me in my return to exercise and healthy eating since having my second baby. There’s a fantastic range of workout options including postnatal, high intensity and yoga. As someone relatively new to following routines, the instructions on how to do the exercises properly and safely are fantastic, and all can be done with simple equipment at home or in the gym. This has been so helpful as I can fit exercise in while my baby naps and I feel so energised after. The selection of recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks is also fantastic. They are not just healthy and delicious, but also quick, which is just what I need when I have so many other things to be doing. There’s also a range of articles on women’s health and I’ve particularly enjoyed the postnatal ones.
I’ve been using the app for a couple of months now and haven’t even scratched the surface with the features available. I mostly use it for the workouts (loads on there, including ongoing challenges to get involved with) and recipes (again, so many to choose from). You can save the ingredients to a shopping list and can add your meal plan to your day, keeping me focussed and organised. It links to my Apple Watch tracking my steps so everything is in one place, I love it! I also love the graph illustrating my progress. I haven’t even delved into the “mum zone” aspect of the app yet with tons of articles and features on mum issues, antenatal and postnatal. Would definitely recommend the app.
I was so thrilled to learn about this app, I’ve been lucky enough to have 1:1 sessions with Mari, I’ve always loved to work out in her company as she works me hard while sharing various tips and insight. I knew returning to work that schedules and childcare would make these sessions less consistent. Now I don’t need to worry! The workouts on your phone are like having a mini Mari on the go, what’s even better… there is so much more to this app than just workouts - so many suggestions, and advice from various sources… it’s like a little community. It’s easy to use and for me, has everything I need; workouts, recipes, tracking and additional features of interest! I signed up for the high quality fitness sessions but you get much more from the app than that. I really will be recommending this to friends and family! Thank you!
