I reviewed this app years ago and talked about the challenges of an IOS user not being able to delete completed games. Well that hasn’t been resolved as of yet but I’m not mad. It’s still a strong chess app even for IOS users. The function to manually accept challenges isn’t working for me. I wonder if that too is an IOS thing.

The interface and features of the updated app is much worse the old app ·
My biggest complaint is viewing my game history. You offer two views of game history: one from Profile and the other from Analysis. There is different information displayed in each Game History view. Why not have one consistent view? Neither one shows the time of the game nor my rating before and after the game. So, I have no way to see if my rating is going up or down and by how much.
· The analysis screen doesn’t show the time for me and my opponent at each move. So, I cannot tell if my move was rushed or just a bad move
· In the Play Now Computer option, you can no longer play Human vs Human. · There is no chat feature
· From Analysis-Game History, you can click on a game and review the game. However, there is no way from there to go back to the Game History list. You should have a button to go back to the list.
· Under Analysis, you have a button on the bottom called Setup. I have no idea what this means. How is it different from my Settings screen?
· You have two abbreviations that I don’t understand PGN and FEN. What are these?
· From the Help screen, there is no way back to the Home screen!!!!!

I have been playing in this app for a few years. It was simple, easy to get a game, and gave you a fairly accurate reading of your rating. There were some bugs but they generally fixed them. The new interface is horrible. It’s distracting when playing, it takes longer to get a game, and I lost all my previous ratings.. the one feature they added that was a positive was it shows you how it calculated your rating score at the end of the match. But it’s not enough to put up with this and I will not be renewing my subscription.
