Unfortunately, FIDE does not deliver a well thought out product. With heavy lag during games, poor app response, glitches, errors, bugs... you name it. It comes across as a money grab with the sole approach of pushing a paid premium account... and even the process of creating a PRO account had bugs LOL!
And their website is no better.
FIDE should take itself more seriously as a prominent governing body of chess and fix their product. Respect your player base.

Here are the problems that the developers should clearly be replaced over if they can’t make fixes:
1. Matching is horrible—you can’t even filter the ELO range.
2. The game abort rate is phenomenally high as a result of #1 and a lack of penalty for aborting games.
3. You can’t see user profiles (every other chess app has this).
4. PGN file downloads are usually or always corrupt.
5. Players are often unintentionally placed into multiple games, which can cause you to lose fast paced games.
