Hello! I am enjoying the initial trial, and I will most likely unlock the upgrade, but one thing I’m having trouble with is an incessant bug that increases the brush size to where it nearly fills the entirety of the canvas. I find that there’s not really a way around it unless I either go to the menu or restart the app again. This bug seemed to happen almost every time I would draw near the margins/edges of the canvas. Separately, It also crashes quite a bit, though I’m wondering if that has to do with my device at all. Thanks in advance. This app is a very wonderful animation app that is very easy for me to understand. I think I’ll enjoy the upgraded version as well.
I bought the app because I needed an animation program but it’s kinda janky unfortunately. It crashes constantly but only saves your progress 50% of the time when it does that and sometimes and just decides not to download correctly?? I used it for 20 minutes and it crashed 3 times during that. I would use it more if it were more stable but I wouldn’t even mind all of that if it had a stabiliser for the pen. The layout is pretty easy to get a handle on though and the app is pretty beginner friendly. I’ve been using it for small things where I draw in another app and import to this to throw it together and it’s functional. Like I said I’d love for it to have a stabiliser or a feature that lets you select multiple photos to import at one time.
I really can’t draw, but I like to play with free apps, to see what they can do. And the idea that I could import a photo and do some animation over it appeals to me. I’m not sure how much I can do with 18 frames, although the developer did mention that you can stretch 18 frames out to 36 by putting a blank frame in between each of your 18... IF I understood correctly. I tend to agree, at this point, with the suggestion that 50 frames would be better for a free version so that idle experimenters can get a feel for it. Yes, I am using an iPhone, it’s true, but that doesn’t mean I paid for it, and it doesn’t mean I have any money to spend on apps right now. But when my fortunes improve, I’m going to remember who I admired and who I felt disrespected by. No I do not feel disrespected, just in case you’re wondering. As a matter of fact, I appreciate your sense of humor and, I truly enjoyed reading the one star reviews and responses to them. Good for you. I was quite amused. And that prompted me to write a review… Even though I haven’t been able to really try the app yet. I also wanted to suggest that, while some indigent users May be unable, for various reasons, to pony up for the pro version… I think that if you add an in app purchase for a tip, and a better tip, and a generous tip, and a very generous tip… That you might see your income adjust enough that you might be able to increase the number of frames above 18. My dad used to do a little animal sketches for me, about 60 or 65 years ago… And I can only imagine what he would’ve done with this app. Keep up the good work and good attitude, and if only one reviewer felt you were snarky, I would dispute his choice of adjectives. Just be safe, and be you.
