Canasta Card House

I am new to canasta and started liking this game until I figured out the rules. If you choose the frozen discard pile option the rules say that it freezes it for all players. Well, it only does for yourself. The dealer Mary Beth can still draw whenever she wants even with this option chosen. I thought it was a good feature at first since I was a newbie a few weeks ago but now I realize she/computer totally has the advantage on you this way. So don’t use the freeze pile option. Set it to unfrozen or else you’ll lose almost every time. Also, you can tel the computer is cheating because she’ll have 3-4 of the 20 point cards of same suit in her meld and she’ll discard them after picking up the discard pile and playing a few other melds. Sad fully I’ll be searching for another canasta game because this one doesn’t seem to allow me to become a better player.

I love the added aspect of goals and coins to decorate my home and change my appearance. I wish the levels didn’t take so long. Sometimes it does seem as though the computer has the advantage. The 4 player mode doesn’t seem to be partner friendly. That’s unfortunate, because I would like to switch up the game play occasionally. I am unable to connect to online players to complete that goal. Sorry to hear someone doesn’t like the comments from the bots. I ignored them at first but then read them and thought they were really clever. My advice is if you don’t want your feelings hurt, just keep playing Mary Beth. She is an absolute delight. Makes me feel like an awesome card player. Overall nice game. With improvements I might purchase full unlock .
