I've been using the app for a few years now but I'm not sure why birthday announcements aren't aired when submitted on time. If there are too many maybe they should split them up during the news air time. It's just disappointing when you've taken the time to submit them and they don't show them.
November 2023 Update: The app continues to be more annoying than useful. You can now click on the alerts, but only from one particular screen in the app. If you’re in a different section, you have no access. And why does the app need to take over my sound any time I open it? I can read the poorly-written articles while my other apps are playing something. How does one continue to make the app worse with every update. Now when I have a notification, I can’t click on the “Alerts” section at the top of the screen. It just won’t respond. Must be nice being the only game in town.
Love the channel 9 app. It keeps me and my family up to date with all the local news and breaking news alerts. You are the best!
