It was an old app before the most recent update, but not particularly bad, and now it’s one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. It autoplays obtrusive audio of off-screen ads even if my phone is on silent, you can’t swipe to go back on pages, and even though every page is riddled with ads it pops up and locks the app for 5-10 seconds to display ANOTHER ad every 2-3 stories. The dizzying autoscroll it performs when you navigate back to the home screen is actually the worst UI design I’ve ever experienced in person. In an age where anyone with $100 can pay someone to design an app which is better than this, this stands as an empirical example of American hubris and poor taste.

Crashing or not opening at all. Never used to have this problem. Latest update issues? Cannot get it to load at all now.

I went into my phone settings and this app takes more internet usage than any other app including Facebook and Facetime. It’s constantly going apparently. It also crashes when you pull it up and click on a story. Not every time, but several times s week. It just goes away completely and goes to your home screen. You have to start all over trying to find out where you were before to view what you were trying to view in the first place.
