7 News – Lawton, OK

The news itself is on point and I really appreciate it. There are tech issues that have me scratching my head in bewilderment. 1. We can no longer share articles, you took that function away. 2. The alerts always signal I have one item to view, and I cannot get rid of that little one on my Home Screen no matter how many articles I look at. It is very aggravating.

No longer does the radar on the app mirror what is shown in real time on TV. You can’t tell how bad storms are. Also when there are watches or warnings, they overlay the radar which also hinders the radar. What good is radar if it doesn’t reflect an accurate picture? Needs work. For the time being, I’ve switch to a competitor’s app to get more accurate radar information.

It would be nice to know of local events before they happen so we could actually attend. I hear news as it happens on Thursday night and you report it Sunday and tell us it happened last night. Who cares if a new beauty shop opened up in Altus . Put reporters, real reporters, in the field and tell the public the real news and not the society page. Police and Fire are working 24 hours a day. Court cases are tried every day. Three times in the last two days police were trying to find someone driving and shooting a gun ! Look up the word NEWS and give it to us !
