This app hardly ever works when you need it, they play one million ads every time you reload a page. They try to confuse you and trick you into watching old footage. It’s 2:30 in the morning and I’ve been watching their livestream all night. They stopped broadcasting and rolled the footage right into footage from an hour and a half ago. Why on earth would I care about what the radars and storm trackers said an hour ago. David Payne has no problem acting like he’s an A list movie star but he can’t even be bothered to stay up during late night severe weather, if he can be bothered to come in at all. Just today he was saying that we “had a lot of fun tonight” when there are at least two reported injuries from the tornadoes across the state. They also can’t be bothered to update their weather forecast. Well guess what David, Payne in my neck. Nobody cares about your stupid stories, sports news, or “expert” interviews. We only watch you for the weather and particularly you because of the equipment. Show up, do your job, go home when the job is over. People rely on you for their safety and you act like that’s nothing. Also if Envirodispose is reading this, I am absolute never ever using your company, and I will vehemently recommend against it.

I love News9! When David Payne, the Top Meteorologist, and Jim Gardner, the Helicopter News & Weather Expert, left another Oklahoma News Station it was not the same at all! Then I found them Both on News9! I was more than Happy! The other people on News9 are okay too but I would change channels again if David Payne and Jim Gardner left and went to another News & weather station! I've watched KFOR since I was a kid, my parents always watched KFOR in OKC. I read from another review that Cable One ( my cable company too-And I hate them & wish we could get COX Cable here in Ponca City!) was threatening to pull News9 off of the Cable Lineup! They were going to do that on Channel 4-KFOR too! That would leave only 1 TV News & Weather station on Channel 5! Might have to go to satellite TV for better options on a Oklahoma Weather & News TV Station! But News9 is GREAT because of David Payne & Jim Gardner! I'd Follow those 2 Outstanding Men ( David Payne makes me laugh every day - he's got a GREAT SENSE OF BEHAVIOR ABOUT HIMSELF! Kind of like Johnny Carson had😉😙🙃🙃. You'll LOVE THE NEWS9 APP!

I love news 9, I watched them on tv since I was a child. If I were rating the tv broadcast it would definitely be 5 stars. The app, not quite so great. I rely on the app for my news each day. I don't stay up late enough to watch the 10 o'clock episode, and during the evening I'm preparing dinner and sitting down at the table with my family to eat. We're busy, like most families are today. So I go to the app to catch up. Here's what I wish I could see in the app. 1. A story that makes sense. Sometimes the stories just don't give all the right details or they are worded so poorly I have to go back and read it a couple of times trying to figure out what's going on. They're are also many spelling errors, which is just silly to me given we have so many tools at our disposal to check spelling and grammar these days. Sometimes the stories start all over in the middle as well, And I just have no words for that. 2. Why do I need 14 updates to one story, but no other new news? It’s 2018 people. There is always something going on in the world. Like on the weekends...I’m pretty sure there is a lot of stuff happening on the weekends, but your online news staff must be off work on weekends...no to very little news posted. So should I switch to another news source on the weekends? That’s also silly. It I switch, I probably won’t come back. So, how about offering the full news online? Not a computerized copy of the 10 o’clock broadcast. The actual news stories....online...in your app...everyday...including weekends.
