Reviews: What People Think About ADHD Test For Adult App

Wow! You guys have been watching my every move, hearing my conversations & looked at my (unorganized) heap, called an office, home etc. ?? Yeah I thought so to! Well I will have to say, “you definitely described my world!” Embarrassing to self at 57. Once highly motivated proficient, multitasker, workaholic running 2 businesses, 4 boys, never missed fb, bb or other games. Did all shopping, cooking, cleaning, packing & cooked meal every day! Now can’t get anywhere on time & my social skills left me. I can’t stop talking. I ask questions but don’t allow an answer because I’m still talking. My mind is swirling w/so many important things. But paralyzed with enable to move from chair. Difficulty where to begin. So I am still sitting. Exhausted with no mental energy left. Around ppl, I’m a race car fully fueled & going faster than what’s around me! After, embarrassed!

When I’m nervous or in general I talk too much. My family has never really believed in the whole mental health thing. They think it’s a weakness to have a mental health issue, but the questions made me realize that maybe I’ve been living my life wrong. I’m super impulsive, talk too much, walk away from things that bore me, and I have hundreds of unfinished knitting and crochet projects that live in various parts of my home.

This was another way for me to easily confirm what I believe about having ADHD. Recently I was told my lack of concentration and inability to get thing organized was do to past trauma. If this was 11 yrs ago I might agree, but considering I’ve dealt with the trauma and all my ADHD symptoms are still going strong and interfering in my life I do not agree. Thanks for this tool!
About ADHD Test For Adult App
Fun and easy self-assessment for adult ADHD. Based on a science-proven ASRS-v1.1 symptom checklist.

The science behind it:
**The Value of Screening for Adults With ADHD**

Research suggests that the symptoms of ADHD can persist into adulthood, having a significant impact on the relationships, careers, and even the personal safety of your patients who may suffer from it. Because this disorder is often misunderstood, many people who have it do not receive appropriate treatment and, as a result, may never reach their full potential. Part of the problem is that it can be difficult to diagnose, particularly in adults.

The Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1) Symptom Checklist was developed in conjunction with the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Workgroup on Adult
ADHD.

The Symptom Checklist is an instrument consisting of the eighteen DSM-IV-TR criteria. Six of the eighteen questions were found to be the most predictive of symptoms consistent with ADHD. These six questions are the basis for the ASRS v1.1 Screener and are also Part A of the Symptom Checklist. Part B of the Symptom Checklist contains the remaining twelve questions.

How Accurate Is It?
This quiz is NOT a diagnostic tool. Mental health disorders can only be diagnosed by qualified mental health professionals.
