Moneywalk Step Counter&Rewards

I use this app pretty much daily. I maybe miss a day here and there. I was accumulating points slow, almost 4.5k, when an update happened and logged me out. I logged back in only to find they deducted all of my points saying “-4471 dormant points”???? I’ve never been “dormant” from the App longer than a day so this makes absolutely no sense. I will update after I speak with Support and see what they have to say about it. Also, “Panda” feature completely gone as well. Not even sure I’d be able to turn those points into gift cards, as I haven’t had enough to cash out yet bcuz I refuse watch a million ads, I only watch a half a million ads. lol not lol Sadly its impossible to find a decent walking app for free, or that doesn’t get greedy and charge a ridiculous amount like Noom. All I can say, is all of those ads, I better not have watched in vain.

I like the app bc I can earn money to walk. I knew I needed to walk more and get in shape for summer so this motivated me. But I am sick and tired of the app crashing or freezing therefore I have to force close the app to reopen it only to find out it didn’t work and I do that half a dozen times to it to even work. Kinda annoying. But what’s more annoying is it does not pair with Apple health. It only tracks the steps the PHONE takes. So I hav to have the phone on me to get points. I have an Apple Watch and it NEVER is the same steps due to the phone is not on me all the time. This is frustrating as the steps are wrong and I’m not getting all my steps on the app. Response to the developer….. it is updated to the most recent version. Always is as I am set up to update each night if their are new. And you shouldn’t need your phone on your to get steps with Apple health. My Apple Watch CONNECTS to Apple health and it STILL doesn’t count those steps if my phone is not on me (most of the time it’s not) so it should count those as well!!!

Update: Only 4 for me, just to give a warning. Other reviews were right. My first gift card went through with points but, never showed up to my Gmail. I check my gifts and see the date, it will be sent to my Gmail in 2030… 5 years??? Too many random new ads have randomly started popping up and glitches since I’ve started using the app. Not once has customer support ever responded to me reaching out about issues or things that stopped working or giving me points. One day I was able to enter my meals, in get points, never gave a calorie count but a random day it stopped and wouldn’t let me. Now the only way I can is the “type it in yourself log” they have… Very helpful with personal medical issues, but all the other rip offs? Games made up for lost points. So as long as you’re a walker, doesn’t mind some extra ads for extra points? It’s a scam to keep you on there. Don’t fall for it… too many scammers apps out there. Already found 2 in the last month. Be careful!
