JustMyRoots: Food Delivery App

Used to love ordering from here. Checked back in today and the app is completely wrecked. The new app has the look and feel of spam websites - there was strange music blaring that I just couldn't turn off, no matter how much I tried. The old clean look is gone, it's now more like JustmyDMart :( sad to see this happen to a beloved brand, but I uninstalled cause I couldn't deal with the awful app.

Distances have been bridged thanks to JustMyRoots. I was petrified at the thought, that ,my son, who has always grown up on a healthy dose of Fish and non-veg, is off for his further education in Chennai, wherein, his hostel food is all vegetarian, cooked with coconut oil. Knowing, my son, he would not eat half of the time. Then, my husband’s colleague, spoke about how, he uses a service called DFH of Justmyroots, and regularly, sends home cooked food, to his daughter in Pune. I was elated, and then, in the first weekend itself, I sent his favourite curries, and he devoured them, while on a video call with me, it was as if, he had never left. I can only say, God Bless Justmyroots team, for this unique concept, The way they handled, my order, extremely supportive customer service, Rima, explained the process, the guy, who came to collect the food,maintaining, great hygiene, packed my food, in their own containers and the best thing was, that the containers, got opened, by my son, without being tampered with, by the packaging team. This is now, my go-to service, every week. I have recommended their services, to all my friends and family, and they are all converts of Justmyroots.

I have always been a foodie, never having shied away, from experimenting with different cuisines and food of varied places. My friends, would constantly, pull my leg, saying that, I need to be constantly on move, to satiate my varied food cravings. But then, the other day, my friends forwarded this link, to a website, that promises to deliver, food, from iconic Restaurants from different parts of the country to one’s doorstep. Initially surprised, I thought, it was a part of their routine act of pulling my leg. But, as I downloaded, I was in for a pleasant surprise. So many cuisines, from all over the country, all the famous brands, unified under a single portal, was a Dream come true for me. I felt lost, as to what to order, and ended ordering from 3 different cities, and the best thing was, delivery of all the products, happened together, at 1 shot, within 12 hours of placing the order. Kudos, to team Justmyroots, for initially having this brilliant idea, and then managing to seamlessly achieve the impossible. Oh, and before I forget, the packaging was impeccable, the Amritsari Lassi, arrived with the Malai intact, and the taste was simply to die for. Oh, all this talk about food, has actually triggered my hunger pangs again, let me log in and probe further
