Jade Dynasty: New Fantasy

This game does not deserve a low rating in my opinion, but I have to keep it real. It’s a beautiful game. Love the music, enjoyed the story and the graphics are amazing, but it fails with their game mechanics. If you’re a new player or decide to play as a new character, be prepared to come to a halt in achieving the most important quests that you need in order to level up your character because it will require for you to team up with people. This game is built on matchmaking. I have an old character that is at a low level (level 70?) and I tried playing with this character but since it’s been so long since I played this game, there where lots of changes in this game that I decided to play as a new character for recap (but not only that, they added new pretty cool characters). Unfortunately, it only has one server and there where no new players. The current players where above level 100. So, you can imagine that I was not going to have any luck finding players to assist and truthfully it was a pain. If I was lucky enough to find a match they would leave abruptly. The game did offer an option for leveling up my old character but it required for me to pay 2k+ gold coins. This option doesn’t apply to a new character, of course. But in other words, if you’re a new player, you will be stuck with waiting on luck or forced to exit because you will not get very far. This game is also from over seas, so you may not come across english speaking players, but it is a friendly environment. Its just that higher level players do not want to spend time playing at a very low level when they basically kill everything with one hit and they already achieved it. I don’t blame them but it’s very unfortunate because this game is truly an amazing game.

At first when I loaded into the game the storyline was very hard to figure out, but the graphics, and classes were amazing it took me so long to pick! I recommend this game but the storyline is hard to figure out and it skips parts so fast! I have only played for one day and am already amazed! I also think we should get more servers. As there is only 17 when I am writing this! Overall this game should be one of the best! I hope this is helpful before you play the game!

I wrote a review before here’s for trying again. This game is absolutely beautiful and well worth the download. As a strictly English speaker I will say we are limited on some things we can do and the time difference can be a bit of a pain but you can still enjoy the game. I am in USA and the time is about a 10 hour difference for me. The translation is done well and you can understand most things game wise. The instructions are very well put together and you can get the basics by reading what’s provided. I will say I am struggling with getting groups as it is clear the game has an English mode and even a translator but the translator is not available in the recruiting section or in the guild section which means if you don’t understand your choices are limited and you rely more on the pity of others to join you for group quests and group events instead of being able to join those requesting help. I would love to see the translator function added there. I don’t mind playing solo mostly and since there are some English speakers but not many and or they understand and speak English but choose not to it can be a bit lonely but if you are willing to be patient and just work on what you can then the game can be enjoyable enough. I know with things going on right now world wise and this being a new game it will take time for it to be up to date but I feel there is so much room for growth and look forward to seeing how it goes. I love perfect world mobile so knowing these are the same makers I have high hopes that the future will have more options for those not local. I have other suggestions as well but will leave it at this for now.
