I've been incredibly bored playing this. Starter heroes as usual are trash and don't get you very far. Then it's turn-the-game-off-time for the "idle gains". Leveling up always leaves you in need of hero exp. You can't play a single day before hitting the spend money to continue wall. Which is tragic, most of us start a game on Saturday. The worst imo, is the summoning heroes. Most of these games are quite similar, x10 summon, guarantee something not useless on the tenth summon. This one is, x10 summon guarantee to get a blue/purple hero, which is always a blue hero(green-red, common-mythic+). So, that's the number one reason for me to quit. Gonna take 15 epics to go mythic and there's 500 heroes in the game, you can't give us an epic from 500 options every tenth summon? It gives you plenty of diamonds to waste in the summon, because it's setup for you to not get sht. Dropped 17,000 diamonds today and got absolutely nothing.. blue heroes, gold, and 8h hero exp. Great. Graphics are nice, but who gives a hoot if youre not playing the game? New content unlocks a week or so after start, but by then I've lost interest. Total trash.

I won’t be surprised if AFK arena (Lilith) will sue and close this game. If you want to play a version of a gotcha game from 2018 give it a try I guess. EverLegion copies every aspect of AFK. From campaign progression, tower, spirit realm (Arcane labyrinth in AFK), isle of mist (peaks of time), kings bounty (bounty board), ascension… they didn’t even change the term, chapel (library) and so on…. It’s a literal copy paste. Maybe it would be excusable if the factions were different. But no. 4 normal factions that are a copy paste of AFK. Blue yellow green purple. And then light and dark factions that need stargazing, followed buy something similar to dimensionals. And the heros are the same too, as well as their progression. E>E+>L>L+>M>M+>A. Same requirements and same names. Constanze is Estrilda from AFK. Same faction and exactly the same 4 abilities. This is the same for Ruthven (Vedan), Katerina (Mirael), Melusine (Nemora), Arawn (Thoran). All the skills are the same and the values are the same as well. The only reason for 2 stars is for animation. This game is like the Disney real life remakes. Without charm and adding zero new ideas. Only thing this game is decent at is giving you an early AFK arena experience when resources were harder to get and game was less polished. Also, I’m not saying AFK is a particularly great game. There are better ones out there. But EverLegion for some reason decided to copy it one to one and it’s just bizarre.

So far this game is remarkably similar to other rpg hero collectors, which is what I want. The graphics are good, the character names are interesting and not mundane like I have seen elsewhere, the hero designs are attractive, the character skills I have seen are easily understood and not overly complicated, and the overall gameplay seems appropriately standard for this genre. Only time will tell if there are any sub quests, mini games, or other fun features. I have no idea if there is a pay wall or how F2P the game is, but they do give you more resources to begin with than most games in the same genre, which bodes well. I look forward to playing this game more.
