At first I really loved this game, was a good way to pass time but after a week of playing I am unable to do anything without spending money. As I’ve progressed I’ve noticed the actual storyline is getting impossible because the tasks are getting so expensive with the coins (220 to pick a shirt) (100 for pants) and now 150 coins each to pick the color of the shirt and pants) and while the sales gives slightly more coins now most orders take at least 100 energy to fulfill which is what the game caps you at to collect while off game. It is ad free so I get they have to make money but they don’t offer tangible solutions with what they are selling. Most packs are get 200 energy that you’ll blow in 5 minutes. I would buy an increase in my energy cap like it gives you 200 off game or I would watch an ad to get 15 energy or something but there’s nothing like that just spend money over and over and over again. It’s really unfortunate because I love this game it was my favorite but it’s gotten unplayable. Don’t waste your time.
I like this game! It’s very free-to-play friendly while keeping a perfect balance between those players and those who want to pay. It’s hard to find games that balance both really well, most games are overpriced and barely let you do anything, but this game has resonable refills and cooldowns in my opinion! The only major thing I would change is to add back a way to look at previous makeovers, free-styling your avatar outside of makeovers, and our own apartment, all from their previous game, Hollywood Crush (and adding a way to skip special customers like Olivia and the Chest Cat, but that’s another story). Also, just like Project Makeover, you are forced to participate in certain events with no option to opt-out, I just want to merge. I’ve been looking for Style Savvy-like games after the absolute abysmal that was Fashion Dreamer, and this game is it, none of the other apps (yes, even Love Nikki) did it for me. Being clear, it’s not anywhere similar to the Style Savvy games, but this is the one that finally scratches the itch for me. Just keep in mind that if you’re free-to-play then the gameplay will be slower paced, but so far that doesn’t bother me too much
I play the game Hollywood Crush and it’s basically the same storyline. The energy goes fast too. You don’t get enough special items to fill special orders and there is not enough space in inventory to hold items to make room on the board unless you buy the space. This is why I hate playing merge games because it’s pay to win. I thought this one would be different. I know it’s a new game but I hope the developer really reads some of these reviews and takes action to improve the game and not just keep giving some generic response.
