The customer support is apparently different from regular CSpire Wireless. If you try to use the chat feature you're better off slamming your face into a table. The chat acts like it's a real person but it's all automated bots that are completely useless. I've been trying to activate and port a number over for two days now. I'm glad it didn't work because I think I've dodge a bullet. This is the worst experience I've had with wireless cell provider. They relaunched as CSpire Switch because CSpire Solo was so bad it's the same thing. New name and branding but same terrible customer support.
Update: I was able to connect to an agent on the website. They did a “fix” and reset the towers (??) and everything seems to be working now. I’m now able to receive calls and texts normally. Seems like the app still needs to be fixed though. Same experience as Bobtcm. Can’t receive calls or texts. Can’t talk to a live agent because chat is broken. I sign in the app, but when I ask chat to speak to an agent it says I’m not signed in. Switches to a login page that immediately goes back to chat before you can do anything. It’s an endless cycle. I finally put my old SIM back in and have both lines going. It appears the cell service would be great but just can’t use it right now. VERY aggravated with the whole experience.
Awful awful awful experience. Let me lay out all the issues. - Signup with an existing account doesn’t work. A useless error message displays telling you nothing. - Transferring a number is broken in the app. You follow the instructions and the number seems to be transferred. You will get no calls or texts. Open the app again and it will ask if you want to complete the number transfer again. This will happen for eternity. - Chat is broken. It asks you to login to speak to a customer service rep, sends you to the login screen, the login screen sees you are logged in and sends you back to the chat. The chat asks you to login again and it’s starts again. It is completely broken. - Customer service is not setup for this app. I called customer service and it immediately tells me to use the broken in app chat because the number is associated with a solo account. I try chatting on their website chat, after finally understanding I have a solo account they tell me to call sales. Sales isn’t 24/7, so I wait the entire weekend, call sales they tell me they can’t help over the phone and offer to send me back to customer service or to go to a physical location, wait forever and they probably can’t even fix it there because they have no training for their employees for the Solo program. I tried really hard to make this work and Cspire failed me. This app, customer service and the overall product was not ready for customers. Stay away. Complete and utter failure.
