Leek Factory Tycoon

There is a lot to like here but the prestige system is a dealbreaker. It’s absolutely terrible. The dev has fallen into the diminishing returns trap in which players are punished with slower advancement for pushing advancement. The leaderboard ranks players by how far they get each weekly season but perversely the way to that well is by repeated short prestiges using a clunky skill allocation system that is an absolute chore. It doesn’t remember settings, you can’t save settings, so you have to set it up each time and it’s hundreds of taps to do that. It used to be even worse! A ten at a time button was added but do you even play your own game? That’s STILL hundreds of taps in a game landscape that demands five or ten minute prestiges to meaningfully advance. I took the time to write all this because the promise IS there, but it’s destroyed with a game mechanism that punishes players for playing.

So some first bullet points, there’s no forced ads, you can watch ads to get some upgrades but they aren’t necessary. So if you know and like games like satisfactory or factorio, you’ll love this game. It is great, it’s simple, and it can be as complex as you want it to be to be as efficient as possible. There are some things I’d like to see, like when you prestige, you could keep your leekcoin settings or get the full refund, I think that’s doable and keeps the ability to customize if you want to tweak things. Another, there’s seasons that you compete with people for how much you make, it would be nice to get something for doing well, not even a lot but maybe just a few leek coins for being a good factory boi, and I think that’s all I got for now

I love this game, and have lost many hours to it. I tend to play on my iPad (Air gen 5), and the game doesn’t *quite* fit the screen right, so it took me awhile to find some of the options (like spending leekcoins) as they were cut off. Also, I’d appreciate an option to keep your prestige upgrades from the previous round, so I don’t have to re-buy over and over again. Or alternatively, a buy multiple option (such as buy x5 or buy x10) to speed up the re-buying process. One last thing, please add more! More recipes, more elements, some events. Idk, it’s a great game but I’d love more to it. Thanks for reading and I hope this feedback helps!
