Our apartment complex installed these while I was at work. I created my account before the instillation of the locks/thermostats. Everything seemed ok. I set up Face ID unlock and a password. Now that I’m home and trying to unlock my door the app is telling me invalid password or email. I’ve updated the app, but that didn’t help. Reinstalled. Nothing seemed to work. So I’m trying to reset my password yet no password reset email has arrived. Which should be immediate. Double-checked my email address and submitted the request again. So here I am, standing outside my apartment waiting for a password reset email for the past 30 minutes.

I only use this app to adjust the thermostat as I find no utility in the front door unlock function (I just use my key fob). There are several other options that would accomplish the same function of changing the thermostat temperature without the precision required to use the current slider. I hope the developers change this to a +/- feature like a regular thermostat.I don’t see myself ever using the lock function unless there was a way to check to ensure your door is locked when you aren’t home, or to lock/unlock your door for guests when you’re away.

The unlock feature is wildly slow and the temperature feature is so touchy and unreliable. What is the point of an Auto Unlock feature when you still have to turn the knob and can’t verify it’s locked when you aren’t home? When my apartment first announced we were getting electronic locks I was stoked so I could always be assured my door was locked, but nope this doesn’t do that. Just makes me pay more money a month for something I could’ve done just as easily with my $0.50 key. The system is terrible and needs to be reconsidered as an option.
