Ashyq

I’ve got my second dose of vaccine in July 3. But the status in an application is still blue. Was trying to call to eGov, they said you may check your physician. Physician said, it’s a problem of the Ashyq system. But no one knows how to contact them. My colleague got pcr test and has a green status for less then a month. System doesn’t work correctly. That’s a big pity!

First of all as it was already said the app violates the right of people of Kazakhstan for the privacy of personal information. Why would I share my ID with external party? Secondly, if you make the app to be a compulsory thing to be used make sure that it works perfectly. There should be NO problems with downloading and NO hangs AT ALL. Especially when a person enters personal information which being honest CANNOT be shared with anyone. So as a matter of fact any person can sue application’s developers.

This application is a panopticon for Kazakhstani citizens. Constant surveillance and violation of human rights. Local businesses have to install this device and citizens have to upload this application to visit public places such as fitness centers, shopping malls, and other places. The government’s excuse to launch this application is related to control people who have contacted COVID, but in reality it is ‘Big Brother’ watching. I hope global organizations which protect human rights will address their attention to this egregious action!
