GentleBirth Contraction Timer

This app helped me stay SO PEACEFUL during labor. I was 8cm when the midwives arrived at our home because my husband was able to watch the pattern of my surges. Even though I was almost to transition, I genuinely thought I was still in early labor because of how well this app helped me breathe through each surge. Only downside was that the audio paused whenever the screen timed out or was switched to another app. Not sure if it was an app glitch or a glitch with my phone.

This saved me from having our 4th baby in he shower I think. Contractions woke me up but because I’d always been induced with the 1st three kids, I didn’t believe they were anything serious. So I did all the things I knew to slow them down: moving, drinking water, taking a shower, but I started tracking on this app, which I’d already downloaded and was ready to use, just in case there was a rhythm or pattern to them. There was! After lengthy births before, this one was different and the app helped us with the urgency we needed to get to delivery within 20 min of Baby’s arrival!😂😭😅😅😅

I was in labor for four days! this app helpEd me keep track of over 1000 contractions, help me get through the toughest time of my life, to stay calm and positive. I really didn’t know how much I needed this app or how much it would help me until I decided to start using it during one of my contractions in the early stages. I used it so much that even my husband picked up on all the encouraging words and how much it was helping me that it gave him courage and words of affirmation to use during my Labor and birthing he was able to get me through it all. My only suggestion would be for the app to have dark mode feature (maybe this is available in the paid version?) Because it’s hard to look at the screen when you’re so exhausted and contracting in the middle of the night other than that I am so grateful thank you!!
