I haven’t had any problems with the two door knobs I have, I ended up buying the gateway to be able to unlock and lock the doors remotely using the Wi-Fi as with the Bluetooth, you have to be close to the doors for it to work. The app needs a major update, I don’t like how being able to lock the door within whatever seconds it is set automatically turns on, I feel it is a hazard, and once it has been turned off, it should not go on by itself, and with the app, I wish it shows the lock status instead of having to click it to see the status of that particular lock. And this is not really an issue, but an annoyance, the colors that show when the door is locked or unlocked, the red and green, should be switched, if the door is unlocked, it should be green and if the door is locked it should be red.

Device installation was easy and the fingerprint and key functions work flawlessly on my K01 lock. The issue as many others have pointed out is the app. Bluetooth connectivity is 50/50 at the best of times and the entire automations tab is essentially useless. Making functions is simple, unfortunately every time I try to set an action within them it erases the action after saving and does not work. With some work on the app this could be 5 stars.

Installation to the door was easy, any 3 three year old can do it., but to get the lock to connect to Bluetooth is impossible, I downloaded the GeekSmart app on my new iphone and the App is not recognizing the new iOS 16.6 However I grabbed an old iPad with an iOS 14.6 and I was able to install the app., It’s connected to Bluetooth on and Off., I love the design of the K01 lock but it’s aggravating to use, I cannot use it on my phone., I giving it a week to see if it works, if not I’m returning it. I have a LOCKLY lock in my house as well and I never have any issue not even one day. This is a developer problem. And when I call the support number I waitron the phone for hours at a time with no response.
