I’m unable to select a specific color from the ring light color spectrum. I can only choose from red, green, blue and several other blinking light selections. I cannot use the blinking lights as they bother me. I bought the product specifically because it advertised that I could choose any color in the app, but that function is not working in my app. I paid to have this fan light installed and the app doesn’t work as advertised and I have no way to contact the manufacturer so I’m pretty dissatisfied, especially because I bought it specifically for the additional light spectrum features in the app that aren’t in the remote. The app literally only does what the remote does and more, there’s no point to it and it’s false advertising and it wasted my money because I can’t get a return on the installation fee.

I’ve been using this app for a while, and I really do like it: it’s functional, does what it needs to, and doesn’t have ads all over the place. Truly the only reason I have a star off is because of the personal issues I have (which aren’t even horrible issues except for one). Issue one: the app isn’t usually updated, in the sense that the light is on and the fan is off but when I open the app is displays the opposite for each. This is a simple fixing by double clicking it for each or simply turning on the fan but it’s just a small thing I notice. The second issue though is more problematic in my opinion. I don’t use audio alarms as they have never had particular success with me, but light usually works. I don’t, however, like having my blinds open, so I instead like to turn on the lights with an app. My past light bulb, I used had an app to turn on the light at a scheduled time. When I changed the whole fan, however, this app does not have that and I feel like it could be a simple fix. If it gets fixed, I will move my review to five stars.

The app won’t connect to my light/fan. it’s not finding it and I lost my remote I found multiple reviews saying I don’t need it but once I connect it to my phone it will make the remote stop working and it will never pair back up, this app is dumb, I like that there’s more to the app than the remote has but what’s to use if I can’t even pair it to my stuff? If I don’t have the option to pair it with my phone then it was a waste of time to even download this app… I don’t regret the light that was bought but I regret getting the app HOPING that I could use my phone to use my stuff and not need my remote. I thought that this app would help me out when I lost my remote and when I looked at the instructions for the stuff to “wife pair” it, there wasn't a button to pair it Through the app... What? Like, come on now... Be better
