L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

We have been looking for authentic Hawaiian food ever since we visited Oahu 15 years ago. So much so that we went back two years later and loved it even more. We have been RV’ing for a few months now and just happened to stumble on L&L when looking for food on our way back to the RV park using Google Maps. The shop at North Charleston were amazing helpfully and we got some awesome awesome awesome plate lunches. Just exactly like we had on our Hawaiian vacation. Sooooooooooooo good. The Loco Moco is great and the Kahlua pork is just exactly like I remember it. So juicy and tender and tasty. Well done L&L! We will be stopping in again on our travels now that we know you exist on the mainland.

Not sure why I even have the app downloaded anymore, but I guess part of it is that I racked up a bunch of loyalty points back when the app DID work, and now I haven’t been able to order at my restaurant for months. And the app isn’t even consistent with what the error is: sometimes ordering for the location is unavailable, other times only two food items are listed on the menu, other times I get all the way to the end of the process and the payment process flubs. I’ve sent messages to corporate contact emails and even their social medias but it’s apparent they don’t really care. Also new development: I can’t even order online through the desktop website anymore. It lists a single food item available for ordering. Really disappointed in L&L

I was really upset earlier, but I realized that this app was released waaayyy too earlier for the location in Aiea to support. I will say, I do like this app, and that fact they support Apple Pay. Hopefully they will update support for the Aiea location I would love to see all L&L locations supporting this in Hawaii! I know the AirPort location uses ChowNow; but it would be nice to unify all locations - even though they are franchises.
