I go to 7-Eleven at least 4-5 days a week so when the app came out I racked up thousands and thousands of points pretty quickly. 6 months ago we changed cell phone providers and got new numbers. Basically locked out forever, all my points gone because after logging in, they send a one time password to your cell phone ( which I no longer have). Either no one was trained regarding the app or they didn’t bother to pay attention maybe? Many employees have no idea how to redeem rewards. For about the first month after I got my new phone number I asked literally every employee in every store that I went to cashier’s manager’s assistant managers nobody has any answer for how I change my phone number so my points are gone. I still go to 7-Eleven but I just don’t care whatsoever about the app anymore. And don’t bother clicking on app support which is the other option to leaving a review. It’s not Support. It’s just information about 711 so that’s all.
Needs a way to scan receipt for points because I checked out and paid but forgot to input my phone number before checking out!
This 7-11 app is good, but needs more support for it to be a great app. The points and rewards is good but I would like to see it offer more options of foods like the slurpees, sandwiches, other drinks (besides water), and others snacks. I find the scan to go feature very convenient, but it is weird to find it hidden behind the stores newspapers. Where it fails is that the hardware to allow a verification of my purchase is annoying, and at one point the system double charged me because I couldn’t verify my purchase though the QR scan because the stores hardware was not working. It is a good app but again support in certain areas would help it to be very convenient and less stressful and useful as a weekly frequent customer; as well as more options for rewards.
