Alertli

Alertli is a great app, been using it for a while now and I can surely say there’s no question as to the authenticity of the news shared on alertli. Furthermore, If you’re someone who wants to stay updated with what’s happening around their area then this is the app for you!

An app built on the framework of a pretty solid idea, but at the current stage the interface is really buggy and not delivering the streamlined experience that it needs for the app to take off. For example, some improvements I can recommend: 1. The user should be able to press on the bells on the map and get info of that specific area individually instead of scrolling through the feed at the bottom. 2. While scrolling through the feed, the video or photo is unclear as it is maintained in the background while there is no option to hide the info and text that is maintained and highlighted in the front. 3. Many minor user interface accessibility issues such as no option to remove shared stories. 4. An idea to further streamline the alerts being posted is to give it colour schemes; such as red for urgent alerts requiring immediate action, while orange for moderate alerts such as damaged roads.
