Rainy attic room

I’m already at level ten on this game and I love it so much. Don’t think of this as a game that you have to “do”; you only just have to “be”. Just “be” a friend. Just sit with them. When they are ready to talk (the timer will let you know), just click on them and then listen to what they have to say. Don’t rush them. Take your time. It will be a little bit before they are ready to talk again, so just mull over what they said, think it over. If you run out of things to talk about, listen to the radio, watch the TV, read the newspaper, basically any way to watch an advertisement and it will usually give them new things to talk about. Some of what they say is really profound. If you find ways to help them out around their house, do it. If you see something interesting outside the window or while you are out and about, click on it because there may be something to it. Store and relive memories with your new friend. Use stickers to commemorate things big and small. Help them upgrade or decorate their place. Help them find new and better things to eat, or more comfort items around the house. Buy them a journal so that they can record their thoughts but later on you can also get a journal where you can write down your own thoughts too. The possibilities are many, just don’t be in a rush. This game is meant to make you relax, stop, think, and live in a slower pace with your new friend, who will grow to like you more and more each day.

i realized after reading the patch notes that this game isnt just going up and down a ladder a few times a day, and even though i loved the game when that's all i saw it as im excited for what else is to come for me. I'm only a level 5 right now and the most exciting thing for me right now is watering the plant downstairs. cant wait to see what the little thing grows into. The developer team is also amazing too, you actually respond to reviews and even take criticism which is something that's very rare to come by nowadays and you have my respect for that. When i wrote a review for this game a few weeks ago you guys responded within the same day and gave me an actually helpful response and it just made my entire day. Now for the pets, if you could make it possible to adopt the cat you see outside the window or occasionally get a dog scratching at the downstairs door you can take in, or maybe even make it possible to keep and care for both of them. not sure how'd they get up and down the house but maybe you guys can figure it out. This is just a suggestion but i think it would be a really cool feature if there isn't already something like it in the game.

SPOILERS AHEAD! The only reason my ranting isn’t 100% is because I lost all of my progress and I’m really really really sad about it. I am in love with this game. It’s cute, the translations give it an extra cute vibe in general and it’s a great personification of how sadness is. Playing this game has really helped me feel empathy. Never once did i judge Little Buddy (the name I gave my character) for his sadness or rush him to get happy faster. Instead, I was patient and spent months watering his flower until it bloomed, collecting rain water, upgrading the entire shop 100%, getting the journal and even writing a few things! I was at level ten and still actively checking him at least once a day. I even got my boyfriend to download the game just because I loved it so much and wanted him to make his character happy too to experience the joy of it. Sadly my phone brine the other day and the knowledge that I’ll never be able to get back the months of work that I put in makes me so regretful; there are no save spots which is definitely something that should be added. Alone with being able to save your progress I can’t think of a single complaint besides withing that there was a way to know that I had to do to unlock everything else. I’m going to download the app again and try to make my little buddy happy again. Maybe if the team sees this, feel free to reach out. I’d really love to have my little buddy back!
