Marble Shooter:Zumba Classic

I forget which level, but somewhere after 100 there were levels which were impossible to beat unless one watched ads to move the chains backward. By the time one gets to level 400, not only are nearly all levels were impossible without to beat without watching ads, but some require multiple ad-fueled rewinds to beat. In fact, 2 or 3 over-400 levels took me almost 2 hours, because just when I was getting close the app crashed and I had to start over. Third time that happened, I deleted the app. I got tired of the ads. Even if I’d paid the $3 or $4 for no ads, I wouldn’t have been able to play without them—and the ads to rewind average 25+ seconds, where the ads between games (the ones paying would eliminate) were only about 10 seconds each. Not worth it past level 100.

Great play style. A few glitches (matching colors don’t always eliminate in a chain reaction), but challenging play without quickly becoming impossible, good help with power ups and time extensions on hard levels, and reasonable ad lengths. Still worth it to buy the remove ads ($3.99 one time, not a subscription). It’s really refreshing to find a gaming company that cares about the player experience and not just greedy.

This is a well designed game that is fun to play and a good way to pass time. Some of the levels are quite difficult but if you keep repeating them, eventually you will get a lucky sequence of balls and pass, or close enough to the end that it is worth watching an ad to “rewind” and finish. However, a couple of problems ought to be fixed. One, the pink balls and the red balls are too similar in color. Time and again, when things are tense and I am making quick decisions, I try to cancel pink balls with a red one or vice versa. Second there is a very annoying pop up about watching a video to get a new skill. No for the 500th time I DO NOT WANT TO WATCH A VIDEO go the bleep away. This pop up remains even after you pay your $4. Fix those things and this app would really deserve 5 stars.
