Crimson Cup Coffee

I love the Crimson Cup, but this review isn’t about the cafe. It’s about the app. There are both pros and cons, but I’m going to list the cons first: * Does not list all syrups in list of optional customizations. This means you CANNOT purchase certain drinks through the app - and unfortunately, the app is the only way you can earn points. * No option to distinguish between drive through orders and in-store pickups - this really matters since you can’t earn points if you purchase at the register, only if you use the app. If you use the app while in the store, you must either personally let the staff know it’s for you or write that info into a notes-to-the-barista submission form at checkout. * It makes you pick your location and time of pickup twice - once before you add items to your order and once again before checking out. The first two flaws are significant enough for me to dislike the app. However, there are also some nice aspects of it: * Beautiful photos of menu items * Well-organized menu * Stays up-to-date with seasonal options in a way that some other places’ menu apps do not It’s still worth getting the app to earn points if you come regularly (which you should - again, the cafe itself is great).

I give Crimson Cup in West Chester a 5 STAR rating! Always personable, and the Hot Chocolate Freeze is my favorite and they are helpful when you order coffee for catering. Helping you carry it to your car. The only complaint I had is a two day battle with the app….it did not like the “tokens” I would put in and gave me Errors for two days…I finally got my app working and BAM….it’s amazing and easy to navigate! I am not a coffee drinker and I love that they have things other than coffee…like chocolate!

Love the coffee and the staff at the shop in Clintonville, unfortunately there seems to be some poor communication between ordering on the app and it getting to the store. I order a regular coffee on the app 15-20 minutes before I arrive to the store just to make sure I can quickly walk in and pick it up, and I get asked by the staff if I placed an order while I’m waiting inside for it almost every time.
