They purposely make the limit 2 hours so students in class lectures won’t be able to use their phones to extend the time or repay for parking… They set the max time limit to pay for on a mobile device with a credit card two hours and after the two hours you have to repeat the selecting zone process and spend unnecessary time filling out the same parking information again.. What the actual hell… It’s so offensive to me that this app is one of two options to pay for parking and they need to fix it right now. The people who answer the phone aren’t helpful and don’t care about providing good customer service and I have nothing good to say about the city of Detroit parking enforcement. This design of this app was created so owners of multiple vehicle have to go through the same format as an individual with one car without any prompted question asking which car I’d like to pay for.. If you’re going to make an app that allows me to have multiple vehicles saved… I want the option to select which car i’m paying for. Shame on them for thinking this mess of an app is acceptable and usable to the public leaving no choice rather than to use the physical meter (always disgusting and who knows if they work properly).. or pay for 2 hours at a time until 5pm.. a joke. Until this is fixed i’ll continue contesting every ticket I receive and continue not paying them!! This needs to be fixed immediately and i’m going to continue expressing my displeasure for this app and the city of Detroit parking enforcement until change happens.
app is not accurate with notifications. I received a ticket across from Little Caesar’s Arena after 8 pm the app did not notify me 15 minutes before time that I needed to pay as it was setup.I was advised by someone that location meters stopped at 8 pm my ticket was given at a 8:40 I paid for 4 hours the meter has just expired before the ticket. I contested the ticket the day of never received an email so a few days later I contested it again still waiting for a court day I never received it. In stead I received another ticket in the mail with three price increase this makes me not want to come to Detroit where metered parking is required. My nonprofit brought a lot of people to the Pistons game due to our partnership with the Pistons to come out to a ticket was horrible and to contest twice only to get a ticket price increase from 45 to 95 pay your tickets the first day this system is set up against us and for the city to continue to rip us off anyway they can!
