I have no issues with the app itself it’s the company I’ve based my review on, I placed my first order on May 1st which was a bank holiday weekend (grace given due to this) had an email to tell me my order had been dispatched and due for delivery on May 6th didn’t turn up gave it a few more days then called the delivery company who advised me that my package had not been scanned since it was collected from the company and was advised to email the company to get an investigation raised which I did the same day had a reply telling me “the most recent” delivery information which I already had and hadn’t changed since May 6th (we’re now on May 10th/11th at this point) so I reply stating that I already had the information and once again asked for an investigation to be raised as advised by the delivery company, the next response I get tells me that this will be done and I will be updated within a couple of days… fast forward to May 20th still no response or update no reply to any emails I send about the matter, fast forward again to June 5th still no update or replies to my emails, fast forward again to June 18th still nothing… I keep emailing to get no response after asking for a refund and explaining why, finally fast forward to July 16th/17th I started a conversation via their app to once again request a refund and explained why I had made the request the reply I received once again (bearing in mind it’s now 2 months on) was to tell me the “most up to date” delivery information which at this point is clearly not true so I replied to the message on the app obviously not happy at this point and actually had to say I would give them until July 23rd after then I would be left with no other option to report then to trading standards I received a reply and email the next day to tell me my refund had been issued, the reason I gave for wanting the refund was simply because I had ordered for a birthday that had now been and gone so no longer needed or wanted the items ordered, needless to say personally I won’t be using this app or company again after this experience customer service to me was shocking, not acceptable and I certainly won’t be recommending to anyone
Received my first order today of a Bottle of Smirnoff Tamarind Spice Vodka. It’s literally not available off the shelf in the UK, my first bottle came from Mexico. Very pleased with the service from The Bottle Club, absolutely fantastically packaged, and arrived within the estimated 3-5 working days. Would highly recommend.
Really prompt responses from customer support. Nice to see the company give a discount for downloading the app too. Would be cool if they added the wheel for random prizes like they have on the website. Competitive prices too which is great and the delivery charges are reasonable when ordering below £100. Highly recommend :)
