Summary: Don’t get it, you might lose access to your Instagram. Here’s my first ever app review, but to try to spare someone frustration, I’m doing this. So, short and sweet, the application works. BUT, big but, in order to fresh it (example, to see who newly unfollowed you) you need to log out and sign back in. Each time you log back into the the IG Followers app you’re gambling you Instagram account. When you go back to your Instagram app it will have logged you out for “suspicious activity”. Eventually, you could possibly have you long term blocked because they think you’re a “bot”. I spent 3 days trying to find how to fix it considering there’s no “Instagram Support” to reach out to. There’s only a useless “Help Center”. Don’t bother with this app. You’ll feel sick if you lose your Instagram account. This isn’t the first time I had trouble logging in after using the IG Followers app. It’s like each time they log me out for “suspicious activity” it’s a whole different set of hoops I need to jump through to get it back. It’s never the same. This latest time, incase this helps someone, the error I got on my Instagram was “challenge_required”. What I had to do was go to the safari browser and try logging into Instagram there. There’s like nowhere to find help or to know to do this, I just went around trying everything. But hope this helps if someone runs into the same issue.

when i first downloaded this app, it was all good. my instagram account was fine and stuff. up until recently. whenever i went to check this app to see stuff about my account, it would log me out of instagram and constantly tell me to re-log in. and yes, i would because i didn’t suspect much at first. but then, this week when i was going to school i saw that some people unfollowed me. so i was curious. i should’ve just stayed curious honestly. everything was fine in the morning until i checked my instagram account in 5th period. i saw that my friends texted me so i went to try to reply, but it said that it got suspended. i panicked and was worrying about it because i had lots of memories on there and i also had over 1k following. so, i tried my best to get it back, but it recently said that it’s been reviewed and it’s final that it is now deleted. moral of this little summary. do not download this app if you are not willing to have your WHOLE instagram account at risk of being deleted. i’ve been sad for a couple of days because of this. because i’ve lost all of my memories, posts, highlights, and even following (mutuals is what i’m mainly talking about). i genuinely wish that i can reverse time to go back and not do that. never trust apps
