Pretty good app, can access all the music my son works on, and the library is searchable for song his band isn’t playing if he wants to try other stuff on his own. Neat how it grades his tone and rhythm for homework recordings, though sometimes inaccurate. But we REALLY need the ability to use a pen tool to write on the sheet music AND be able to PRINT out the sheet music! He struggles sometimes without us being able to provide “cheat notes” above certain sections. Having simple cheat notes (like Chorus: AGEDG, Verse: CGE CGD x3) for Rookies and Rock 101 would be helpful for total beginners too. I also wish the “choose a different instrument” pull down in top right corner was available on the sheet music assigned from his teacher. It’s only available when you search for that same song in the content library. He sometimes wants to learn the vocals, even though he’s a keyboardist. It’s an awkward few extra steps to do so right now, including typing in the song name.

I use this app pretty frequently since I am a SOR student, and it does the job, but needs some fixes. For one it would be useful to be able to print things. Also, the score is very inaccurate, and could give you a 100 even if you were playing a completely different song or a 40 if you did it perfectly. Another thing is it makes you sign in for some reason. It also is best on iPad rather that iPhone although I don’t know if the majority of people use iPhone or iPad. The last thing is that is the app runs kinda slow overall.

Ok so I have been a sor student for over 2 years. After being there for a year, I had to sign in to an app. That’s when COVID hit and it was hard to sign in with the virtual stuff going on. I eventually signed in but was logged out after I didn’t use the app for like a year. Now I can’t sign in and everything I’m doing doesn’t work. I can’t get access! This app is amazing when you log in because it gives you free sheet music. But the signing in part is way to confusing.
