One year later.. Still no love for anyone who doesn’t live in a major city. Deleted. Waste of time. Update To the Developer Response: Yes, I get that. But that doesn’t address the issue that if you don’t list all cities/towns (you could even allow people to type in their own via an “Other” option), then people will select the nearest city to them, which artificially inflates the number of users in an actual city to higher than it really is.. causing usability issues when people want to meet up, but their potential companions are hours away.. You’re causing a problem by not anticipating the use scenario you’re forcing people to adopt. Please fix this so that your app succeeds and doesn’t flop. Original Review: HUGE PROBLEM with the rollout of this app: ONLY big cities are listed, and will only be launched when the number reaches 150ish signups. Well guess what? When you don’t allow people to sign up for where they ACTUALLY LIVE, they’re going to pick the closest city, like me, even if it’s hours away. So what happens when you “launch” that city? And the vast majority of people live nowhere near the actual launch place? And this app falls flat on its face/goes nowhere because of shortsighted app development/planning? C’mon guys! Get it together! This is a GREAT idea, and has SO much potential! Just open it up to all towns/locations! I’m not saying launch them all right away. It will take longer for the lower populated areas to reach the same number of signups (perhaps think about having lower threshold for small towns?), but this would allow the actual cities, and the residents in them, to find actual locals who live there, not folks who want to be a part of this app, but are forced to list a location that’s not easy to drive just for breakfast… Food for thought! Closest city you guys list is over an hour away from me.. I’d really like to meet folks locally, in my small town. Why is everything always just for the cities? I LOVE what this app has the potential to be. Just please offer it to more folks in more places!

The app is great, they are always doing updates to improve the functionality. The concept of meet up is unique and intriguing. I like that it’s intentionally not free, to sort of gather people who actually going to participate. But in the big city like NY it doesn’t work. It back fires in NY since people pay for a subscription and then are too busy to text back. And when they do answer its to either just to chat or plan something they will cancel later. So far out of 12 people I got matched with, only 4 people answered and no breakfasts yet.

Upon writing a review about this application, giving a horrible feedback about this app, the developer responded back to me, accusing me of doing things I never did, and to make this really simple and easy for everyone to understand. Basically put if I was placed under a polygraph test in front of a committee of people, asked questions about situations that I was accused of I never did, my chats were thoroughly analyse by everyone, in a matter of minutes, everybody would know the reality and the truth about my conduct as a client of this application. So evidently this application loves to accuse people of things they never did, adores to block clients and mistreat them and indeed corrupt peoples image with horrible and mal intent. Indeed, if I had behaved so inappropriately or committed any atrocities, I would never reply with such certainty. Plus interesting enough, I ended up hanging out with people that I’m met on the app, so…would they hang out with me if I was such a horrible person? Off course not. I guess the AI system has no logic at all. So if you are a brand-new user, be aware that you may be banned for no apparent reason, it’s an AI that bans you not a human being with brains and foundation. And then you have professional developers who will side with a computer, and not with common educational logic and fairness above all else. Remember that before you waste your money on this this app and wait you get banned for being reported for no reason at all, AI won’t care at all plus you may be reported several times but the content for which you are reported for is literally clean and very much within the guidelines. You are banned just because people pressed the report button but reality is there is no evidence of any foul play or inadequate behaviour. Do not waste your money!
