This app is great as a workout tracker but needs some fixes. The first issue is the ram usage. I can’t verify that the app uses too much ram but based on the behavior I have a feeling it does. Apps are normally closed by IOS in the background once it takes up too much ram. This causes timers to reset at moments. Please take a look at the apps ram usage or anything that might be causing it to crash in the background. The second is the over reliance on a network connection. This is especially hard in gyms either bad connectivity or slow wifi networks. The third issue I have is the app doesn’t have an auto workout end. For example if I forget to finish a workout, it keeps it going indefinitely. It should have an auto finish feature. The last thing is that I think the interface would be better if reps and weight could be adjusted from the same screen where you click the check mark for the workout.
I can add reps to any workout I have started the same or any previous day. I can do this all throughout the day without losing what I’ve already tracked. At the end of the day or any other day I can complete a workout whether I completed it or not. The goal is to complete them all, but in reality it just ain’t like that. I appreciate this flexibility.
Easily the best, most intuitive, and feature-packed app in the fitness genre. I’ve used Strava, Map My Run, Garmin, FitBit, StrongLifts, and many more fitness and exercise-centered apps. This is my absolute favorite. The workout-building interface has done away with ever needing to return to spreadsheet workout tracking too! Love it.
