Paint Color: Color by Number

Beautiful pictures and colors but some MAJOR CONS. It’s one of those apps that seems to think that if they annoy you enough then you’ll subscribe. I swear even pictures that don’t have a little camera require you to watch a 30 second ad with an additional 10 seconds or MORE to let you decide if you want to click on it. Not fun or relaxing to have to waste up to a full minute for even a simple picture without any embellishments. Then as you’re coloring a little icon will float around in the middle of the page reminding you that you can get 2 hints by watching yet ANOTHER ad! If I wanted more hints, I know where to click, there is no need for that icon to float around covering the picture-again annoying and not relaxing. Then there’s the thing where you can see all the REALLY cool pictures exclusively for subscribers. It’s meant to show you how great the subscription but is it too much to ask that only subscribers can see them? It’s bait to lure you in but the thing is, a lot of people simply can’t afford it. Having it rubbed in your face that you can’t color certain pictures because you don’t have that kind of disposable income doesn’t really make it a fun app to come back to frequently. So while it’s incredibly beautiful, it can get annoying if you’re unable to subscribe

Edit. —- I really like the recent changes you’ve made (the hovering tips ad button is a lot less annoying and I appreciate that you’ve reduced the overall amount of paid only pictures), however the “rest your eyes” ads are far too frequent. I’d rather they were gone completely, but at the VERY least they should not happen every three minutes. The level of frustration is making me not want to use your app at all. I was really enjoying this app until a few recent updates resulted in being inundated with advertisements. I was totally fine with watching them to unlock pics, the occasional after completion ad and watching ads for free clues, but now they interrupt coloring (multiple times per pic session! Only I decide when I’d like to rest my eyes thank you very much). Plus they just added a monthly up charge for access to a large amount of the pic, which is their prerogative I guess, but the lack of that was an attractive bonus in comparison to other coloring apps. Now it feels like they are flooding us with ads to “encourage” paying the monthly fee which in addition to bonus pic access turns the annoying ads off.

Hello, I just want to say that I LOVE this App! The colors are so vibrant and so beautiful that the final picture sometimes takes my breath away! There are a few gripes I could make such as having to pay for some of the pictures to color, the automatic zoom in function that happens when you start a new picture, or the “ rest your eyes” pop-up just before an ad. Those things are annoying but I can deal with them. The ONE GRIPE I have that truly annoys me is that there are HARDLY, IF ANY PICTURES OF WOMEN OF COLOR OR OTHER ETHNICITIES!! ALL Angels, Fairies, Queens, and even women with long hair are not white women!! ALL HAIR IS NOT STRAIGHT HAIR EITHER! There are other coloring apps that show representation for ALL RACES AND CULTURES and I enjoy doing their pictures. I would encourage you to broaden your library of pictures as I know they would be AWESOME ONCE COMPLETED because of the beauty of your colors! Thank you, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us!
