Paint by number for adults

This app is a lot of fun when I don’t feel like putting in the effort to actually color. Searching for a shape identified by a number is an entertaining brain exercise. It is a good alternative to crunching numbers and developing text. It relaxes my stressed-out brain by gently exercising a different part of it. Now, quite a few months later, my life stress has been lots more severe, and I find I am using this game to shut my mind down for blocks of time, and just hide out. Some situations which are genuinely beyond my control, and it a waste of my time and energy to discover new ways to be aggravated, so I’m returning to the enjoyment of shape and number identification, and I expect that soon I will be tracking progress and developing text Kim once again. Oh tes, a despite a severe slump in finances, I am signing up for a year of Color by Number this evening.

This would totally be a 5 star app if you got more pictures to do free each day. When I 1st downloaded this app I had lots and lots of pictures to complete then all of the sudden one day I logged on and I only had a few, also tons of pictures I had done the previous day were now “locked”. Now it looks like everyday you get only 2 pictures to complete and then they LOCK 4 pictures that were previously available so your lose MANY pictures daily and only gain 2 new ones. I really am not liking that at all. This is such a relaxing fun app the concept is great. It’s not just another color by number app because it’s basically a puzzle and a color by number all on one. Works your brain so much more, the cost to purchase tho is just way too high for this type of app!! And it seems like with all these pictures becoming locked it feels like they are almost trying to FORCE you into paying the outrageously high cost. I wouldn’t mind paying but 6 bucks a week?? No way!!

This app actually has free puzzles u can complete and doesn’t force you to buy a ridiculously priced subscription to test it and enjoy it. There are several free puzzles that function exactly as I imagine the paid puzzles work. They also seem to add puzzles to both the free and paid versions every day or week. I love it. You can do the puzzles as a color by number or as an actual puzzle. I love jigsaw puzzles but screen real estate inherently limits how well any traditional jigsaw puzzle can be displayed and worked. This provides a work around in that (almost) all the shapes are unique, so you can match pieces without having to have first filled in all the nearby pieces. Therefore you can work from a smaller total number of pieces visible at once! It really is great and a relaxing way to unwind free from the anxiety we all seem to be facing these days:) I will be buying a subscription because I believe this is a great app and am comfortable paying for the hours of enjoyment I have gotten from the free puzzles, not because I have even run out of free puzzles or because the free ones are inferior. I recommend it!
