Voice to Text Dictation VoxRec

Writing, by hand, on yellow legal pads-or even laboriously typing on a PC/laptop/ phone—is so distracting, unsatisfactory. So I searched. Bought Dragon. Tried microsoft 365. I speak distinctly, without a trace of accent, being from the midwest. Shouldn’t be that difficult, righ? Wrong. Until, that is I found voxrec. Now, ideas flow from my brain to the page. No cumbersome hunting/ pecking. My book is almost writing itself!! Voxrec is accurate. No long voice training necessary. I spoke. Voxrec recorded-accurately! and transcribed. Accurately. There is a god and her name is Voxrec. And you know what? It’s affordable. Even for a writer... Well done.. Thank you

What I love: 1. It can automatically email the transcription to any email address. So you could have it automatically email you, or email a todo app like todoist. I use it to remind myself of all sorts of todo’s and in my case they get emailed to ClickUp which automatically transforms them into a task. 2. Records AND transcribes. 3. Works on iPhone and Apple Watch. 4. And more. The developer also responds promptly. The paid tier is a bargain if you need a lot of minutes but the free tier offers a lot. Also, no ads, even on the free tier! Though frankly I wouldn’t mind some for what this app provides.

This is the only APP I have found that will add ALL punctuation. You don’t have to say “PERIOD” “COMMA” “QUOTATION MARKS” “CAPITALIZE” etc. All you have to do is speak normally and this APP does the rest. I have tried about EVERY APP in the APP STORE and hands down this one is the BEST! This is the ONLY ONE; dive even waste your time on any other. It even recorded a lengthy message with the TV blaring in the background. It came out PERFECTLY! I wish it were more affordable. I would love this APP and would use it EVERYDAY! You can copy and past your transcriptions and/or recording to a text message, email, Calendar, ANYTHING. I would DEFINITELY pay the monthly $40 (something around this price) EVERY month if you were able to import other text documents; and the APP would read the text out loud. You could either upload the document within the APP OR have the ability to upload your text document from other places... Such as: iCloud, Files, Documents, PDF’s from a website, etc. Now, this would be a GAME CHANGER for me and MANY others as well. If this APP were LESS expensive and CAPABLE of reading other documents aloud... that would definitely be a FIVE STAR APPLICATION!
