Most accurate voice dictation out of all i have tried on IOS. 3.99 is a fair price for all the features it has. Needs Apple Watch integration though. To be honest Apple voice dictation is trash i wont even use it sending a text because it’s so inaccurate and will have you sounding crazy so i use this to write emails send text as well as take notes. Highly recommended.

I don’t use nor need to record my voice, so this application is perfect. This app keeps the mic on until I stop it. This app deletes previous words, instead of just single letters which saves a lot of time editing mistakes. As long as I don’t bring up the keyboard, I can place the cursor whereI want it and delete mistakes and continue to dictate without having to restart the mic. That is a big time saver. I can bring up the keyboard if necessary to make more precise editing corrections. I would like to see a button to make the keyboard disappear. The way you do it now is to swipe it down and that makes the list of notes also scroll down and then I have to scroll the screen back up to get back to my place. I took time and spent some money searching for the most user friendly and versatile speech to text app and this one is it.

I I am 70 years old and live alone in a beautiful place and I love living alone. But my thoughts wrestle around in my head and make it difficult for me to let the world in without crowding out my peace. My thoughts work slower than my mouth and to be able to see what my mouth is able to get out without my brain completely ready to say it. It shows me to stop and think about what I’m saying. I haven’t gone back and looked at anything I’ve recorded yet but I’ve been recording my thoughts since I opened this app on my phone and I feel like I’ve got a therapist. About Voice Notebook - audio to text
The application allows continuous voice input and transcribing of audio files. The voice input can also be saved in the file for further processing.
The App can read texts and generate audio files using TTS for selected voice and speaking rate.
Voice editing, text correction and language changing without stopping dictation are possible. Text entered by voice can be saved in a file or sent to another program. The note files are saved in the folder on the device and available for users. The list of voice notes can be sorted by date or alphabetically.
Backup notes feature is implemented.
When translating audio files into text, time stamps can be inserted and the resulting transcription can be translated into the Youtube subtitle format. A listening mode with highlighting the timestamps of the spoken sentences is provided for correction the resulting transcription.
For most devices (not very old) transcribing audio files and speech to text can be done even in offline mode (without Internet).
For devices running iOS 16 and higher, auto-punctuation mode is possible for languages in which it is supported.
For devices running iOS 17 and higher, it is possible to use custom dictionaries that allow you to enter words and phrases by voice that are not recognized normally. You can create an unlimited number of custom dictionaries.
The Apple Watch app is included, where you can take both audio and text notes by voice and sync them with the main app.
The option to print and find notes has been implemented.
Dark mode is supported.
Premium mode will remove ads in the Speech screen, enable "No Sleeping" switch (auto-lock screen) and bluetooth support. Also the time limit for the length of transcribing files will be removed. Unlocks audio file generation settings for TTS mode. Unlocks the "Open" button on the user's dictionary page.
