Greenworks Connect

I downloaded the app to try it out. While playing around with it I tried the battery lock feature, which worked. However, the battery unlock feature doesn’t work, and now I’m apparently stuck with a brick. Called Greenworks and they were not able to help me :( Needless to say I won’t be buying any more of their equipment. AVOID THIS APP if you’d like your Greenworks equipment to function!

The app is not very good. I’m using it for a robomow and there have been very little updates for it not to mention the mower itself which is a whole other thing. I don’t know what update it started on but I had gotten an error notification that the mower was stuck. It really wasn’t. All it needed to do was turn right and it would have cleared itself. I got the mower working again and cleared it but I still have the badge of a notification on the app icon that I can’t clear. I can’t clear past notifications in the app, a few months ago I had parked the mower for the remainder of the day in the app and 30 minutes later, it left the dock and ran over our blowup waterslide, slicing the tubing for the water. If you have the app open it doesn’t refresh if you need to clear an error and enter the pin again. I have to constantly turn the app off, turn the mower off and on then wait for the notification to then open the app to enter the pin. It just does not work well at all.

Impossible to connect to the battery, when adding a battery, the app sees the battery but when tapping “next” it says an error occurred and that’s it.
