Life is Strange: Before Storm

Okay I love this game, I saw some edits of it on tiktok and have already played Life is Strange. But I purchased all of my episodes about 2 hours ago and just started playing episode one. Everything was fine and I’d say my first “glitch” or “bug” or maybe the creators of the game messed up was whenever David talked his mouth wouldn’t open but his face would move and it’s terrifying 😂. But other than that it was fine. I then went in the car and listened to David’s lecture to Chloe, and then she woke up listening to country music with her dead father driving the car. Once I pressed “speak”, her dead dad, William, turns the radio up and then you hear a train coming and it ends with the train hitting their car. After that the normal loading page comes on, and then it closes the app and kicks me off to my home screen. When I get back on the game, it says my data was lost. I’ve had to replay the whole thing 3 times and it keeps doing the same thing. The app doesn’t need updating and I have an iphone 7+ which is eligible for this game. I don’t understand so if someone could maybe tell me what I could do to fix it then that would mean a lot because I did spend 14 dollars on it!! Thanks!!

I finished the first LiS game a while ago. I downloaded this after reading that I should play this before playing any other LiS games. When I got it, I couldn’t believe what happened when I went to the menu. The background was glitching out like crazy! I bought episode 1 and started playing it. Now, pretty much everything in the game was glitching out. (I have images for proof, as well.) I have an iPhone 12, so it shouldn’t be doing that. As you can tell, this game is one of the most glitchiest games I’ve ever played. And yes, I play a lot of games. David’s mouth movements ruin the game even more, too. His chin is moving up and down, and his eyes bulge out of his head often. I have yet to see it, but some people have proof that Rachel Amber turned completely red in one of the game scenes. This makes the game very not enjoyable for me to play. And listen, I’m not one to give a 3 star review. I love your first game, it was very breathtaking and I love how it mixed together like that. I still will keep playing your games, but this one is not very good. The only thing I really liked about the game was that we got to play as Chloe, and Rachel Amber was seen on the game. Graphics look nowhere near as good as the first game on iOS (and the preview video is also DEFINITELY not taken from iOS version, and I’m playing on iPad Pro 10.5; also, the devs for some reason took out the ability to control the character without having to tap everywhere to go which is just awkward and annoying - I feel like I have no control over my character. And this also brings in the terrible camera control, where also unlike the first game, you cannot change the camera sensitivity and the camera just feels slow and sluggish. I have no clue what the devs were thinking NOT using the SAME control scheme from the first game. Terrible decision, doesn’t make any logical sense. Next, the game takes up a RIDICULOUS amount of space! As I already noted, the first game looks wayyyy better in terms of graphics and that game had huge environments too. So why does the initial app plus each episode take up so much friggin space? And lastly, not including iCloud sync (like the FIRST GAME had) is just another clueless move by the devs. I’ll give them credit for adding Game Center achievements, but why not include iCloud sync too? This game looks so rough around the edges and with the bad controls, the devs either need to release an update to make the controls EXACTLY like the first game or I may be looking to refund. This game is just not on the same level as the first LIS game on iOS, and I’m really, really disappointed to be having to say this after enjoying the first game so much.
