I pay $22/year for this and they charge the $2 fee like clockwork but the app crashes everytime I try to pay an expense since January 2020. How this app passed any quality assurance is beyond me? I think associated contracts with a different company for this and they should make this a priority to fix with their vendor. Instead I'm Notifying my employer and showing them the problem since Associated won't do anything. Lots of great choices for HSA's out there that don't charge anything and have user experiences that work.

So it could be a decent enough app as it has most of the features you need to process HSA transactions. It has one fatal flaw (at least) in that it crashes when you go to pay on your entered transaction.

From a mobile perspective I am able to keep track of expenses and track contributions for the year. The mobile app is not as powerful as the website, however.
