Like most I have this app as a companion to my outdoor, permanent lighting. The lights were advertised as something you could leave up year round and use for various holidays like Christmas, July 4th, Halloween… while there are a lot of different setting and combinations, they’ve missed some serious marks. There is NO way to make any custom pattern which really hurts the value of the lights because they have ONE pattern of Red/Green, NOTHING in red/white/blue, NOTHING in purple/orange. I don’t understand why these would be missing but I really hope they add these or build in some kind of customization of colors. I’m going to need to return these lights now and let the manufacturer know why. Such a shame.

I got these LED lights specifically for the app-controlled aspect. I wanted to be able to change them seasonally and customize them. This app has tons of color choices and motion settings, but is missing a few things that I would really like to see; things that would be very easy to implement for the developers. First, season-specific color ways. I’m using YCP flush open for spring but I don’t see anything that would work perfectly for Thanksgiving (orange, red, yellow, brown), Halloween (orange, purple, off/black), Pride (ROYGBIV), July 4th (RWB), etc. Adding a list of holidays/seasons would be easy and solve this perfectly. Second, there’s no way to customize beyond picking a single color. I don’t see why we can’t pick multiple colors and motions. I’d love to do something like a firework (motion from the middle of the set out) or a glitter type of motion pattern - with whatever colors I pick. I really hope the developer of this app implements these ideas very soon because YCP flush open only works through May. I want to leave the up year round and more options would allow me to do so. So for a week it worked after that the app just refuses to work ever it randomly will turn the lights off and on again and won’t let you change it from the seizure bright color flashing reset over and over and over until you actually get in car accident this is a horrible and I mean horribly constructed app with 0 actual co trol I wish I could post the video to show cause I litearlly had to drive my friend to hospital because of these lights almost giving him a seizure I’m not exaggerating we could t get them to stop and I ended up ripping it out my car and going to buy actual decent lights that actually work. 10/10 making sure no one I know ever uses or buys this app and lights period. Delete it from the store or fix it you can not have a app that will turn the lights on and off super fast like that with no control that’s litearlly like you want people to die in car accidents. And why on earth is it even malfunctioning it’s not the lights it’s the app that does it to the lights.
