Vista Golf

So I have to be honest, I never write reviews for apps. But this app in particular I have spent a crazy amount of time in. Been playing since the app came out and have never had any real complaints. I am slightly ashamed to admit it but, I am on hole 16,000 in infinite mode and I don’t plan on stopping. However, the most recent update removed some really fun and challenging features on the golf holes so I do hope they make a return soon. I know you have to keep the app running smoothly so app updates are needed but please work to make the holes tougher and more interesting. Also, an option to use the new shooting mechanic or the old shooting mechanic would be nice as the new shooting line makes it a little too easy. All in all, it’s still the greatest app to kill time with and easily one of the best mini golf apps in the store.

Ok. Firstly, On multi-tier levels, I want to be able to see the other tier without have to twist my camera into a weird angle. Second, On levels where you have a half-pipe, when you go behind it (camera), you can’t see the front of it, which makes it super hard to do shots when your in that area. Third, I want there to be some sort of Multiplayer mode, wether it be Local, Online, I just want to be able to play with more people. It would be amazing! Fourth, I want to be able to create my own courses and submit them to some sort of Forum or Workshop of some kind, and I want to be able to download courses that other people create with this Level Editor of sorts. Fifth, I want the courses to get progressively harder as you get better at the game. Maybe add an experience system (Leveling Up). Sixth, you should add barriers so that you can’t use ramps to jump from one section over to the end of the hole. This would make it a lot harder for the player. Seventh, I would like to see different hole styles, such as a circled net-type Goal, a square net-type hole, different sizes of hole, etc. This would make it a lot more fun to get into the hole, as you never know if you’ll get one size or the other. Eighth, please add ball customization. As much as this would probably get copyrighted/stuck down by Golf It and/or Golf With Your Friends, this feature would add a kick to the ball. You could look classy while your friends (who let’s presume are noobs just this once) will look Normal and will be like, “Whaaaaat? I want you ball!!” To say the least, right now this is a really good game, and I would definitely play it a lot more often if these changes/adds/fixes were implemented. I’m sure a lot of people would want to play it too. I’m not really saying that you HAVE to add these in, but it would make the game a whole lot better.

Vista Golf is fun. These problems with Vista golf could be corrected. The playing surface would benefit with some opacity, so you can see multiple tiers, when a playing surface is directly under another, as what currently is offered. impossible to see where the track leads. Also placing direction of play would make it less confusing to know which direction leads to the hole, “just a few arrows”. Lastly, it would be a nice feature if the infinite course allowed the hole numbers to be changed without having to reload the entire game. An excellent feature is not having innumerable ads. An improvement was the enlarged holes. All in all, a pleasant way to pass time. Addendum: As of mid March, the developers have added a huge number of ads, to the level of lowering my original review from 5 to 2 stars. Unless you are willing to spend more time viewing ads than playing, you must disconnect from the internet. No other changes, and no improvements were implemented. THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE WAY TO PLAY is to SELECT AIR PLANE MODE. DISAPPOINTING.
