Primary and secondary cardholders should be able to see all transactions going through the account or at least the primary should be able to allow access to view all. Neither of us could see a complete list of the transactions making up the total balance, the “load more” button at the end of the transaction list would do nothing. I could see certain transactions on my app as secondary card holder that my wife couldn’t see on her app as primary card holder and vice versa.
Those “whoops, something went wrong!” notifications everytime I try to transfer money out of my virgin account (my savings) into my nab spending account will be my thirteenth reason. It’s been happening all day every day for the past 5 days, so I know it’s not a random glitch. Even trying to transfer between virgin accounts, or do anything else, nothing seems to load or process. It’s like the whole app is faulty. And yes I have followed all suggestions to troubleshoot, to no avail. I’m in dire straits financially, lucky I have a safety net of savings that I worked hard to put aside. Just kidding! I literally have no access to it. The only solution the company could really offer is to manually transfer my money to my main account, which requires you to jump through more hoops in their faulty app, and won’t be processed for several days. The two reps I spoke to were great, but you can’t do much with a broken system. Seriously sort your app out! It’s so unethical to be holding people’s money hostage, especially in this economic climate. Somebody needs to be held accountable for this appalling app.
The high interest of a Virgin Boost Account is not worth the headache after the 32 day lockout period expires. My pending transaction in excess of 100k disappeared from my transaction history and the money did not get transferred to the Go account like it was supposed to. The money just became available in the locked Boost account so the only way I could get it was to transfer it to Go account again, take a screen shot of the transaction pending in my Boost account, and wait another 32 days. So, if and when it doesn’t go through again I can show a screen shot of proof when I call them up because if you call up without proof of a transaction in your account they won’t unlock the funds. Of course this means the lockout for me would have been 64 days not 32 as stated. After about 3 hours in total worth of high stress calls to virgin money I got lucky and BOQ Hardship team called me and had instructed Virgin money to release my funds due to a technical error on the day I made the transaction in the Virgin money app which caused the transaction to vanish from my Boost account when the 32 day period expired.
